Shelby Conditt is a young rising singer-songwriter based in the Chicagoland area. In February of 2024, she released her debut EP I Should Know Better, which her fans praise for its unique blend of genres and heartfelt lyricism. Shelby’s upcoming music releases continue with these themes, but with more of a pop, rock, and grunge twist. Her music has been described as “if Olivia Rodrigo went to jazz school.” Shelby recently earned her degree in Vocal Jazz and Contemporary Music at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of the Performing Arts (studying with renowned vocalists Cheryl Wilson and Michele Thomas) while continuing to perform her original music in Chicago and around the mid-west. She has played at the Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, opening for Avril Lavigne’s tour and the Goo Goo Doll’s tour during their pre-show parties.
